Nilsen Investigations ~ Prices and Payments

Our Basic Investigation fees are $60.00 per hour and mileage is .50 cents per mile round trip. These fees are quite competitive in the field, and we charge by each tenth of the hour after the first hour. Many firms round up times to the next hour, which can become quite costly to you, our client.

Mileage is calculated using online mapping programs such as Yahoo! Maps. Mileage is round trip to location of service or attempt. Mileage inside the city limits of Tacoma, WA will be based on round trip miles from Pierce County Superior Court at the County-City Building. Mileage outside the city limits of Tacoma, WA will be based on round trip miles from our mailing address.

This comparison shows that the client could pay over $135.00 more using the rounding up method.

Prior to the start of an investigation, the client may be asked to pay a retainer fee and sign a retainer agreement. The Amount of the retainer will depend on the estimate of the time required to conduct the investigation, and this amount will vary from case to case.

Sometimes our clients only need specific data services such as driver's license information, vehicle registration, criminal record checks, etc. In these cases we can quote a specific fee for the specific request. Just give us a call or Email us for a quote.

Cash, Checks and Money Orders will be accepted.

Nilsen Investigations also accepts Credit Card payments via PayPals Email Payment Program. Clients will receive an Invoice as an attachment to an Email. This Email will include a payment button that will take you directly to PayPals secure website to make payment by Credit Card.
